AgroWeb Armenia, as a part of the AgroWeb Central and Eastern Europe Network, is created with aim to collect and publish information on agricultural institutions and other important agriculture-related subjects, in order to help users find information and contacts in Central and Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union. AgroWeb Armenia is acting as a Virtual Extension and Research Communication Network (VERCON), working in close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia in linking farmers, agricultural producers, rural communities, researches and extension services in the country. Based on the conceptual model of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO UN), the network website serves as a model for the countries in Central Asia and the Caucasus region.
